Visual Intelligence. Start from an image.

Upload a location photo, film frame, mood board, or reference image. Visual Intelligence understands what it sees and turns visual inspiration into production-ready locations — real places you can actually shoot.

Location photo

A place you found — a building, a street, an interior. ScoutHalo reads its architecture, materials, and light, then finds real locations that share them.

Film frame

A still from a film or a reference shot. It reads the frame’s look — composition, palette, mood — and surfaces places that could carry it.

Mood board

A board of references. It reads the throughline across them and turns the collective direction into a shortlist of real, shootable places.

How it works

Understanding, not matching.

It doesn’t hunt for the same picture. It reads what the image is made of — architecture, light, materials, constraints — and turns that into real places you can shoot.

An illustrative read — Visual Intelligence works from whatever image you upload.

What it understands

Questions

Visual Intelligence, answered.

What can I upload?

A location photo, a film frame, a mood board, or any reference image. Visual Intelligence reads what the image shows — its architecture, light, materials, and mood — and turns that into a starting point for real locations, rather than trying to identify where the picture was taken.

How is this different from Scout?

They’re two entry points into the same platform. Scout starts from a production brief you describe in words; Visual Intelligence starts from an image. Both land in the same place — ranked, grounded, production-ready locations you can carry into a project.

Does it find the exact place in my image?

No, and it never claims to. It works from the qualities of the image, not its origin. It surfaces real, named locations that share that visual language, plus nearby alternatives — options you can actually shoot rather than a single unverifiable guess.

What does it read from an image?

The things that decide a shot: architecture and setting, lighting characteristics, materials and palette, composition, and the production constraints a place implies — access, permits, and the like. Each read is tagged for how sure it is, so judgment never poses as fact.

What do I get back?

Similar real locations and nearby alternatives, each arriving as a Scout Report — the same production intelligence Scout produces. From there you can save them, compare them in a Project, and move to an approved decision.
