Acceptable Use Policy
What you can and can’t do while using ScoutHalo — the rules that keep it safe and useful for everyone.

About this policy
What ScoutHalo is for
ScoutHalo is built for real production work. You’re welcome to use it for:
- Production research and pre-production planning
- Creative planning and developing a look for a shoot
- Location discovery — finding real, shootable places
- Production intelligence — permits, access, timing, and logistics context
- Organizing your work into projects and collections
What you may not do
To keep ScoutHalo safe and reliable for everyone, you may not:
- Use it for anything illegal, or to plan or support illegal activity
- Infringe copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property
- Harass, threaten, or abuse anyone, or upload harmful or hateful content
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data, or resell access to the service
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy how the product works
- Share your credentials, or use someone else’s account without permission
- Probe, bypass, or defeat security, rate limits, or access controls
- Automate abuse or send automated traffic we haven’t authorized
- Upload malware, or use ScoutHalo to distribute it
- Attempt a denial-of-service attack or otherwise overload the service
- Engage in fraud, impersonation, or any deceptive activity
Using the AI features responsibly
ScoutHalo uses AI to turn your prompts and images into scouting results. You may not use those features to:
- Break the law or help anyone else break it
- Impersonate a real person, business, or organization
- Facilitate or plan criminal activity
- Infringe someone else’s intellectual property
- Misrepresent AI-generated results as verified fact, or use them to mislead others
- Circumvent the safeguards, filters, or limits built into the product
Scouting results are informational aids, not guarantees. You’re responsible for how you use them.
Your account
Your account is yours to use — keep it that way. You’re responsible for everything that happens under it, so keep your password private and don’t share your login. Accounts are for a single person and can’t be transferred without our agreement.
If we believe an account is being misused, shared, or compromised, we may suspend it to protect you and other users.
Enforcement
If this policy is broken, we may take any step that’s reasonable and proportionate. Depending on the situation, we may:
- Remove or disable content or activity that breaks the rules
- Limit, suspend, or terminate access to some or all of the service
- Investigate suspected abuse or security issues
- Cooperate with lawful requests from authorities where we’re required to
Where it’s practical and appropriate, we’ll let you know and give you a chance to put things right first.
Updates to this policy
ScoutHalo is an evolving product, and this policy may change as it develops. When we make a material change, we’ll update the date above. Continuing to use ScoutHalo means you accept the current version.
